Who We Are…

Alicia Capetillo

“Alicia caught the travel bug early in life. Her parents plopped her on a plane at the ripe age of nine months and brought her along on trips that she pretends to remember. It is rumored that her first words were Susan Sontag’s famous quote, “I haven’t been everywhere, but it’s on my list,” though onlookers swear that it was incomprehensible baby talk. Since then, she has traveled to Spain, Mexico, Argentina, Chile, Bolivia, Peru and Colombia, and has a dangerously long list of new cities in which she hopes to get lost (not figuratively).

Alicia graduated from Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science without ever losing an appendage from frostbite or acquiring the dreaded Medill F, and moved to Birmingham and then Baton Rouge before settling in Cincinnati. She is the oldest of 47 cousins and credits that unique chaos for her cool head when encountering obstacles on the road. In addition to being a wannabe vagabond, she considers herself a fantastic sports heckler, a voracious reader and a professional nachos chef.” — Alicia Capetillo.

“Hi! ¡Hola! Hallo! My name is Simone Kuzma. I am a Wanderer. A Traveler. An Educator. And a Motivator. These passions took me all over the world where I learned languages, cultures, recipes, education, confidence and understanding.

One thing I’ve learned in my travels is that we are all the same. We are all just people, regular people, and people want to share. Share their lives, share their experiences. From one culture to another, we want to share. And for me, more than anything else, I want to share with others how to become that intrepid traveler that can take in the world with confidence. I want to bring the world to you, and you to the world!”
